Hidden Lake is a gated log home community located in the beautiful mountains of McDowell
County, NC. We sit on approximately 500 acres, with over 200 platted homesites averaging in size from 1 to 3 acres. We are centrally located to many great historically vibrant attractions and towns. Asheville is 50 minutes to our west, Boone is 70 minutes to our north, Hickory is 40 minutes to our east, and Charlotte is 90 minutes to our south. We have easy access to I-40, and Highways 64, 221 and 226.

While staying in one of our rental cabins, you will have access to our 10-acre fishing lake.
It is catch & release only, with swimming not permitted in the lake itself.
At our Lakeside Park common area you can enjoy our seasonal in-ground pool, jetted
spa and pool house with showers and bathroom facilities. This area also features
picnic tables, grills and a small boardwalk with a fishing dock. You are welcome
to bring along your own canoe or kayak to put in from this area but there are
none available to use or rent. Larger motorized boats are not permitted. There
is also a small playground area for younger children.
Over at our Streamside Park, there are additional picnic tables
and outdoor grills. And we have an easy-to-walk nature trail that winds through
some of the wooded areas and along adjoining pasturelands.
All of our rental cabins are fully furnished with everything
you'll need for a comfortable stay. They come stocked with all of your bed
linens, towels, cookware/utensils, local maps and area information to help you
find your way around more easily. There is a small starter-supply of toilet
paper, paper towels, dish/laundry detergents and trash bags but you'll need to
supply any extras for your stay. Just bring your personal bath products, food, yourself and you'll be all set!
If you are planning to buy or build in Hidden Lake, you also
have use of the above mentioned common areas within the community. As a property
owner, you also have the added benefits of gated access, paved roads,
undergound utilities (electric/phone lines), curbside mail delivery, reasonable
POA dues and of course our best asset - OUR FRIENDLY RESIDENTS!
